Movember is an annual event involving the growing of mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues for example cancers, men's suicide awareness and more. For this month I would like to raise awareness of Movember, create a fundraising event to then give the proceeds to Movember foundations and lastly create fun activities for movember an example of this would be growing mustaches competition. My group members and I sent out an email on the 23/10/2022 describing to students what the the cause of Movember is and what they need to bring to get free dress, this is so that we are able to collect money so that then we can donate the money to a Movember charity as well as spread awareness to the whole school to give them an idea of what men's mental and physical health is all about. As an estimation we think that in total we would get somewhere around the range of three thousand HKD just in the free dress. Following the email as a group we created a group presentation to present in assembly to the whole school about the Movember project and what awaits for the students in the following weeks. We explained what is movemeber, how it affects mental and physical health, what we are planning to do with the money we raise and what activities we have instore for the school. Following this we explained to the school what are the three activities we have in store. The three activities we have in store are a charity football game students vs teacher on the 22nd, free dress on the 17 of November and raffling for shaving a teachers mustache on the 30 of november. These events will be followed by emails sent by us to the whole school. On the 17/11/2022 We sent out an email reminding students to bring our twenty dollars for free dress yesterday and this morning we went around the school during registration to collect money from each of the grades and then we divided the money per grade and wrote down which people were missing to pay us. After that we went to the teachers to remind the students that they haven't paid the money in the office where the envelopes that we created are placed. The main event of the football game was on 23/11/2022. The football charity game students vs teachers, we organized teams of 6 sides and had substitutions for each team. If you were participating in the football match you had to pay 20$ and if you were watching the game it was 5$ to watch. In the collection we made 608$ just in the football game including the free dress which was 2000$ dollars. We are still waiting to count everything as we still have the shaving mustache event which will be the last event till we fully count the money and donate it. As for the football game it was a success. We were able to get the whole school to watch either from the balconies or the pitch cheering and bring that school spirit back in school. For this my job was to collect the money from the students and I participated in the football match myself. Lastly after november ended we presented in assembly on the 2/12/2022  as a way to finish off the movember, we presented to the school photos of all the participants that grew a mustache and had the whole school rank them in a live vote in an enthusiastic way. We went through the 10 participants and the school voted for Mr.Cunnigham to win, he received a 300 dollar gift card for starbucks. Overall it was an engaging experience with the whole school as we were able to bring spirit into the school and some form of fun.
